Hi Pete,

I lost your email address, beleive it or not I just finished my 7th streetcar. This was a blank that someone purchased at the auction. I just posted the pictures of it on my website if you would like to see it. On my nav. bar click on more streetcars and scroll to the bottom. Also on my home page you can see my own seiries of streetcars called "Streetcar Reflections".

Have a great day

Pete-
Just stumbled across your blog surfing for Louisiana-rlated blogs. Just wanted to say that I love the pic in your header. I'm a member of the Buccaneers of Lake Charles; we are the official pirates for the city's Contraband Days festival, so obviously intt these piratey-type things.

I'll be sure to check back again.

Hello!
I'm writing to you from Destee-Nation Shirt Company. We're a Seattle-based company that seeks out independent businesses and icons of local culture all over America. We feature their stories on our online travel journal, and their iconography (logos, signage, whatever) on vintage-style t-shirts that draw fans from around the world.

I'm eager to hear from you in reference to the road trip currently underway by our lead scout, Gabe. He's traveling the country in a restored 1967 Airstream trailer, highlighting the greatest local businesses and venues.

Since you clearly know New Orleans better than most, I wondered if you'd be willing to provide suggestions or advice for Gabe's sojourn there. New Orleans has so many intriguing and unique venues--we'd love to have the guidance of a local voice like yours.

You can find out more about us at www.desteenation.com/roadtrip

Thanks a million for your informative blog.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
